Neal Shasore is passionate about diversifying architectural education, heritage and practice. As Head of School and CEO of the London School of Architecture he is bringing a radical new approach to architecture education, re-defining the terms of the traditional Parts 1-3, and expanding its reach through his Part 0 and Part 4 initiatives.
His books include Designs on Democracy: Architecture and the Public in Interwar London (Oxford University Press, 2022) and the anthology Reconstruction: Architecture, Society, and the Aftermath of the First World War (Bloomsbury Publishing, 2023), co-edited with Jessica Kelly.
Neal is a Trustee of the Architectural Heritage Fund and the Twentieth Century (C20) Society, and co-launcher of the Built Environment Literacy Project.
