Like Bijlsma is an architect, geographer and researcher. She is the co-founder of SUBoffice (SUB office). As a specialist in housing typology and urban culture, she has carried out studies on Intermediate Size Housing Typologies, Dutch New Towns, Delta Cities, Peri-Urban areas, and 1970s Heritage. Like has served as editor of the architectural journals OASE and ROOILIJN and is now on the editorial board of FORUM. She teaches at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture and the Eindhoven University of Technology. In 2017 she won the Rotterdam Architecture Prize and in 2019 she was a member of the jury of Europan, a housing competition for young European architects.
